One of the most interesting features of NUBOMEDIA is that it can fully interoperate with IMS infrastructures. For this, the project has created an IMS Connector that enables the seamless introduction of WebRTC calls into IMS environments. We have created a video demo illustrating how this connector works:

What’s NUBOMEDIA

Kurento.org, a technology created with the support of the NUBOMEDIA project, received two Demo Awards from TMC, Systemwide Media and PKE Consulting during 2014 WebRTC Conference & Expo V celebrated in San Jose (California) on November 18-20, 2014.

WebRTC is an emerging technology, which is gaining significant attention by Internet and telecommunication stakeholders. WebRTC brings the promise of Real-Time Communications (RTC) in a native and standard way to WWW browsers.

IMS World Forum is one of the most important events for RTC infrastructures in the world. This year, it will take place on next April in Barcelone. The IMS World Forum is the only dedicated global IMS event in the market. Of course, during the forum specific tracks will be devoted to VoLTE and RCS services currently operating and launches planned in the near future.
